Measuring Impact
Evidencing the impact and developmental value of Make Your Mark with Susan Room® coaching.
I have partnered with Dr Selin Kudret, FHEA, Associate Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School, University of Reading, and Founder of Happy People at Work to help organisations and individuals understand the impact and developmental value of Make Your Mark.
Together, we help organisations and individuals measure and understand what changes for participants, how that change supports organisational goals, and the business case for continued investment in voice, presence and communication development.
"When organisations invest in coaching, they need more than positive feedback. They need evidence that it is building capability, strengthening confidence and creating value that lasts."
Susan Room, The Business Voice Coach

When commissioning Make Your Mark coaching and workshops, organisations can choose to add one or more optional Impact and Development Briefs, available at additional cost.
Impact Briefs
1. Immediate Impact Brief
A concise group-level brief based on a pre-programme survey and a post-programme survey. It shows immediate shifts in learning, confidence, behavioural intention and priority development areas, and helps organisations understand early impact and justify their investment in Make Your Mark with Susan Room® coaching.
2. Sustained Impact Brief
A group-level brief based on a pre-programme survey, post-programme survey and follow-up survey. It shows whether learning has been retained and applied over time, supporting future learning and development planning, budget decisions and internal reporting.
Development Briefs
At individual level, we offer a choice of two Development Briefs to help participants understand their own progress and translate the learning into lasting behavioural change in their everyday leadership practice.

Together, these tools help organisations move beyond attendance and satisfaction measures, while also helping individual leaders translate learning into practical, lasting behavioural change.
